Background
Never afraid to challenge the norm, Emma has spent her career working within and with SME’s, across multiple sectors such as: catering, engineering and life sciences.
Emma’s business philosophy is simple: if it no longer serves or isn't good enough— be brave and bold enough to tear it down and start anew!
Emma believes that the greatest innovation and challenges to conventional business thinking is born from the creativity, agility and entrepreneurial thinking of business owners. Her passion is to help build businesses that prioritise people and growth.
Coming from an accounts & finance background, her journey into leadership was unconventional. Joining a company in difficulty, provided her with endless learning opportunities, allowing her to re-build the business from the bottom-up whilst providing her with real insight into what people on the ground really want from their leaders.
After a successful career in life sciences, she went on to establish her own business, Outside the Bubble, as a business transformation consultant, specialising in helping SMEs unravel complex issues that hinder their growth and potential.
Emma thrives on tackling the obstacles that prevent businesses to be at their best, with commercially based strategic thinking, pragmatism, and robust implementations plans. She works with companies to build engaged teams and departments with clear plans and processes that evolve into beautiful, harmonious working environments and cultures.
Emma’s first experience of 91Ó°ÊÓ was in January 2019 when she completed the Business Growth Programme (BGP). It is no exaggeration to say that the BGP and the impact it had on Emma was a catalyst for the creation of Outside the Bubble.
Since then, she has become a counsellor on the BGP programme contributing to the renowned Business Growth Programme (BGP) and Ready For Scale Programme.
Emma’s desire to share her experiences through coaching, mentoring, and facilitation supports and nurtures both people and businesses to grow and thrive.
